This policy explains how Latin World Media Corp. d/b/a LifeStyle Miami (“LifeStyle Miami”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects any personally identifiable information you may provide to us via the website www.lifestylemiami.com (“Site”) and/or our Services. This Privacy Policy constitutes part of the LifeStyle Miami T&C (“T&C”). Terms not defined herein shall have the meaning set forth in the T&C.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of this Privacy Policy at any time without further notice to you. If any material term of this Privacy Policy is changed, we will post notification of such change on the Site and also revise this Privacy Policy to reflect such change. We will indicate at the bottom of this Privacy Policy the date this Privacy Policy was last revised. It is your (“you”, “your”) responsibility to regularly check the Site to determine if there have been changes to the Privacy Policy and to review any such changes. In the event we modify this Privacy Policy, such modified Privacy Policy shall be effective upon posting, and your continued use of the Site will signify your acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy.

Collection of Information

Personal Information. Currently, you are not required to provide any personally identifiable information in order to gain access to the non-password protected portions of the Site. However, to use access certain Content or Services provided by LifeStyle Miami via the Site, you may need to register as a member of the Site and create a profile. At the time you become a registered member of the Site, we may request that you provide us your first name, last name, age, income range, email address and username. Registered members may also make required subscription payments, if any, through the Site. Those members that choose to make any such subscription payments via the Site will also be requested to provide a mailing address, billing address, telephone number, credit card number and/or other payment information necessary to facilitate the payment thereof. Additional personally identifiable information may also be voluntarily added by you to your profile at a later date.

The Site also permits you to contact us via email and via our Contact Us form. Whenever you send an email via an email link or through the Contact Us form on the Site, you may be providing us with your name and email address and any information you choose to include in the text of your message. For example, you may choose to provide your mailing address or other information necessary or helpful for us to address your query or other concern.

Your personally identifiable information may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country where LifeStyle Miami may have facilities and/or servers, and by using the Site or any of our Services, you consent to the transfer of your personally identifiable information outside of your country of residence. We will endeavor to adhere to the principles set forth herein, regardless of whether information is collected, transferred or retained in countries or jurisdictions that do not require a similar level of protection of your personally identifiable information.

We may use the email address you provide to us, as well as the Site’s messaging system, to send you updates, newsletters or news regarding our Site and/or the Services, and to provide you with information regarding advertisers who may have relevant offers (subject to the terms set forth below).

Interactive Tools. Certain features on the Site provide you an opportunity to interact with other users and submit User Generated Content. These may include tagging, rating, voting, discussing and commenting on articles and events, message boards and so forth. When you use these features you should be aware that any User Generated Content and other information you submit, including your user name, location, e-mail address and any other personally identifiable information you choose to include in any User Generated Content you submit or post, may be publicly available to others unless you have specified otherwise using the Display Name settings in your profile. Sharing of Information. LifeStyle Miami is committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals who utilize our Site or any of our Services. We do not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to third parties. We share your information only with our business partners, affiliates or Third Party Content providers, or as otherwise described herein in order to provide you the Site and our Content and Services, and to comply with all applicable laws, regulations and rules, and requests of relevant regulatory and other governmental agencies.

In order to carry out your requests and respond to your inquiries, we may share your personally identifiable information with third parties that perform functions on our behalf (or on behalf of our partners), such as companies or individuals that deliver merchandise, participate in our promotions, administer our promotions, provide marketing or promotional assistance, process credit card payments, analyze data or provide customer service (but such information will be shared only to the extent they need such information to perform their functions). LifeStyle Miami may make certain offers or services available to our users from third party advertisers. If you provide us your permission to allow such third party advertisers to contact you, your personally identifiable information (such as your contact information and other information collected during your visit to our Site) may be shared with such advertisers, including data aggregators, marketers and other organizations.

Also, we may share in aggregate, statistical form, non-personal information regarding the users of the Site, traffic patterns, and Site usage with our partners, affiliates or advertisers. In addition, we will disclose information we maintain, including personally identifiable information, when required to do so by law, or may disclose such information in response to a request from a law enforcement agency or authority.

Note that certain Third Party Content providers may condition provision of their services with access to certain personally identifiable information of users as part of reporting/audit provisions in their agreements with LifeStyle Miami or to investigate violations of their rights. LifeStyle Miami will use its good faith judgment in cooperating with any such Third Party Content providers’ requests, and solely in compliance with LifeStyle Miami’s agreements with such Third Party Content providers.

Except as provided herein, your personally identifiable information will not be provided to any third parties without prior approval from you.

Tracking Technologies. The Site and the Services utilize “cookies” to, among other things, allow you to navigate quickly through our Site, facilitate the login processes and allow you to personalize and store your settings. Cookies are small strings of text that are sent by the Site to your browser and then stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. Links to Other Sites. The Site and the Services may contain links to third party websites that allow users the ability to download or access software or content. LifeStyle Miami neither controls nor endorses such third party websites, and has not reviewed or approved any content that appears thereon or the privacy practices of such third parties. LifeStyle Miami and its Third Party Service Providers shall not be held responsible for such third parties’ privacy practices. You should review the privacy policies posted on such third party sites.

Modifications. We strive to maintain the accuracy of any personally identifiable information that may be collected from you, and will use our commercially reasonable efforts to respond promptly to update our database when you tell us the information in our database is not accurate. It is your responsibility to ensure that such information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. You may review and update your personally identifiable information that you have provided to us at any time by signing in and visiting your profile.

Opt Out. You may opt out of receiving communications from us and our affiliates by following the opt-out link provided in any email received from us or by emailing us at support@lifestylemiami.com.

Consequences of Not Providing Information. You may choose not to provide us with your personally identifiable information. However, choosing not to provide certain requested personally identifiable information may prevent you from accessing and taking advantage of certain aspects of the Site and/or Services offered by LifeStyle Miami.

Business Transfer. LifeStyle Miami may, in the future, sell or otherwise transfer some or all of its assets to a third party. Your personally identifiable information and/or technical information we obtain from you via the Site and/or the Services may be disclosed to any potential or actual third party purchasers of such assets and/or may be among those assets transferred.

Residents of the European Union or Others Countries. As the Internet is a global environment, collecting and processing personal information may involve the transmission of personal data internationally. Therefore, by communicating electronically with us you acknowledge and agree to your personal data being processed in this way. Eligibility and Children Under 13. Without limiting the generality of the T&C, the Site is intended solely for users who are thirteen (13) years of age or older. Certain portions of the Site may indicate they are accessible solely for users who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and who are not considered to be minors in the state of residence.

We do not intend to collect personally identifiable information from anyone we know to be under 13 years of age, except for the limited circumstances described below.
